“sky-scraping” – Ein Jahresprojekt

An 365 Tagen wurde täglich ein Foto des Himmels an der gleichen Stelle, in die gleiche Himmelsrichtung und im gleichen Zeitfenster aufgenommen. Das Projekt wurde vor der Corona-Pandemie begonnen. In der Bearbeitungszeit hat sich vieles in unserem Leben geändert. Der Himmel stellt sich bisher an keinem Tag gleich dar. Trotzdem sind uns alle Himmelbilder vertraut. Ablesbar sind auch die Entwicklungen im Lauf der Jahreszeiten. Und natürlich gibt es die Anknüpfung an die künstlerische Auseinandersetzung mit dem Thema Himmel über die Jahrhunderte sowie eine Umsetzung mit den (digitalen) Mitteln von heute.

Entstanden sind 365 Fine Art Prints in einer Auflage von 3 (+1) auf Hahnemühle Photo Rag 308 g | je 60,6 x 16,1 cm

Die Aufnahmen wurden beschnitten und bearbeitet. Der Horizont findet sich in der Arbeit nur noch in der Schnittkante, an der die Farben des Himmels linear aufgelöst werden.

Je Monat wurde zusätzlich ein Motiv ausgewählt und in der Größe 180 x 48 cm ausgearbeitet und gedruckt (ebenfalls auf Hahnemühle Photo Rag 308 g in der gleichen Technik (FAP).

“sky-scraping “- An annual project

On 365 days a photo of the sky was taken daily in the same place, in the same direction and in the same time window. The project was started before the corona pandemic. In the processing time, many things have changed in our lives. Heaven has never been the same on any day. Nevertheless, we are all familiar with sky images. Changes in the course of the seasons can also be seen. And of course there is a relation to the artistic examination of the subject of heaven over the centuries as well as an implementation with the (digital) means of today.

The photos were clipped and edited. The horizon is found in the work only in the cut edge at which the colors of the sky are linearly dissolved.

Each month an additional motif was selected and worked out and printed in the size 180 x 48 cm (also on Hahnemühle Photo Rag 308 g in the same technique (FAP).
